Even today Crystal glitter of opulent versions beautify castles and palaces of heads of states and lights up parliaments, government residences, universities, concert halls, temples and sanctuaries world-wide.

You can now feast your eyes on these exquisite hand crafted pieces, imported directly from the Czech Republic. We at “Bohemian” showcase some of the finest Bohemian crystal.
You may be surprised that even today, at the beginning of the 21st century Bohemian crystal is made in small family-enterprises using time honored methods and the same emphasis on the quality and uniqueness of the precise manual workmanship.

Whilst some companies have forgone the tried and true techniques for the sake of faster or cheaper production, the long tradition of the Czech crystal has been kept intact by strict adherence to the highest craftsmanship, skills, and art and quality standards of the Czech glassmakers, glass blowers, glasscutters and designers. From stem ware and other drink ware to bowls, vases and chandeliers, each piece is hand cut by Czech artisans the old fashioned way, not knocked down by machines, each piece develops its own story.
The shape assortment is wide – wine glasses, champagne flutes, goblets, decanters and jugs, tea cups, dishes, doses, vases, candlesticks, bells, baskets, cosmetic bottles and cordial, beer, juice and water tumblers, mocca and bowl sets, lamps and chandeliers etc.

Bohemian crystal items are decorated with various hand-cut decors; the typical Czech decorative patterns include rich so-called "lace" decorations which represent the Czech cutting school. Some of the items are further decorated with high enamel combined with 18Kt gold paint adding to its exuberance. Rarely seen in Indian markets, “Bohemian” showcases a rich range of colour crystal pieces –amber, cobalt blue, ruby red, jade green and black. Color is introduced by the addition of various oxides to the basic batch mixture. Gold oxide (as well as chrome oxide) is used to produce the ruby color -this is the reason why ruby glass is generally more expensive.

Nothing comes close to matching the quality of hand-cut Czech artwork that you will be proud to possess, display or gift. These timeless masterpieces epitomize the finest Bohemia crystal tradition. So treasured and so timeless, the beauty of this artwork will add sparkle to your home.
These are handmade creations that will last a lifetime eventually becoming family heirlooms that grace the homes and tables of future generations, each one a story in the making.
